YAY, we have finally got to Gigi Scanlon story. When we first meet Gigi she's 17 year old girl, who got in a little trouble consorting with psycho vampire in the first book. Now she's all grown up in The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire, boy is her life an adventure.

All right, grown up Gigi has been around vampires for a while, she dated a psychotic one, and you would think she would avoid them after her mishap. That would be a nope, but she's in search of one that is dark and mysterious. Plus, she's decided to do a summer internship at the council office in order find him.

Nikolai Dragomirov is basically fascinated by Gigi. She draws something out of him. However, things get a little crazy when he starts attacking her. Now it's up to Nik and Gigi to figure out what the heck is going on, and how they are going to stop it.

Again, Molly Harper definitely knows how to write a fun story. This is they type of story that you just read/listen for fun. There's a lot that is going on. We have Gigi working at the council office, falling for a dead guy who is trying to kill her, but he's a good guy. Trust me Nik is a good guy. There's some shady stuff going on at the council office. Okay shadier than normal. Let's go with Ophelia is a little crazier than normal, but all in all a fun read. LOVE NIK AND GIGI! Seriously, they are so perfect for one another.

Since, I have been listening to this series on my phone, it was little harder this time. Partly, because when I listened to the story it sounded like Iris to me not the Gigi voice in first book. Then again I thought about it, and it probably would have been a little annoy to listen to Gigi voice from the first book throughout this whole book. Don't get me wrong I love Gigi, but I guess Gigi's voice had to grow up too. I still believe that Amanda Ronconi , and she does a fabulous job on reading these books. If I didn't then I wouldn't keep going back to them. Seriously, I re-listen to them. Anyway, fantastic narrator.

Overall, LOVE this story!

I am a not so secret Molly Harper Junkie, having read all of her books. But I have been not so patiently waiting for Gigi's book since Molly released her Christmas Novella "I'm Dreaming of An Undead Christmas" that followed a now college aged Gigi after Iris's turning.
In The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire Gigi is getting ready to start her new job at the Counsel helping build a vampire database. On her first day of work she's attacked by a vampire, who turns out to be not only the man she's been dreaming about since Christmas but he's also a friend of her brother in law Cal. Nikolai was sent in by Cal to follow Gigi at college and they have met before, but he doesn't remember harley any of it. The book follows Gigi's trials and misadventures of being a human who works for the counsel, as well as what can only be considered the normal weirdness that follows those in Half Moon Hollow.

I DEVOURED Rebound Vampire. I was really excited to see how Gigi's grown from the first time we met her in Iris's book. She was a petulant teenager who was only concerned about herself. In Rebound Vampire she's experienced heartache, and nightmares that many her age have never even imagined. Nik was so freaking hot too. He simply just took control but still allowed Gigi to be her normal snarky self.
I think my absolute favorite thing about Molly's books is that even though this particular one focused more on Gigi and Nik, we still get to see all of our favorite people in the Hollow, including Jane, Dick, Miranda and Jamie.
I wasn't excepting the twists that were thrown in and I really want to know more about Ophelia now too. We've gotten so many glimpses of her twisted ways but I really want to like her.
Please pick up Molly's Half Moon Hollow Series and see why I want to live in the Hollow.
As with the other books in this series this book is laugh out loud funny. Gigi, who is Iris’s little sister (Nice Girls Don’t Bite Their Neighbors) is all grown up and has landed her first real summer job. It’s a great cushy job that pays great doing the thing that she loves but is also during the night at the vampire headquarters. Gigi is ecstatic but Iris and Cal, not so much. They want Gigi to stay away from vampires that they do not consider part of their inner circle in hopes that she will not fall for another vampire. Gigi though has already fallen for another vampire, a vampire that she hasn’t seen him for months because he seems to have disappeared until he shows up out of the blue and attacks her.

I loved the way that Nikolai was written, so proper and precise but with a sense of humor that made me laugh. I had a feeling who the bad guy would be in this one but I was surprised at another turn of events. I absolutely love this series and cannot wait until the next book comes out.
