Tyranny of the Judiciary — Glory of the Republic argues that the judiciary has overstepped the bounds of its authority under the Constitution, suppressed the founding truths of our country, and transformed our democratic republic into a judicial oligarchy.
The founding principles of the United States consist of moral, political, and theological truths that are known to reason. They are not subject to the principle of church-state separation because they belong to no church; they belong instead to the people. Obviously, the enactment of the First Amendment was not meant to suppress the first principles of our political union. We have forgotten (or better put, have been made to forget) that religious truths can be known by the ordinary powers of the human mind.
Our Founders and Framers were strongly influenced by Deism, the philosophical outlook that holds that certain truths about God and morality can be known independently of revelation. In keeping with previous republican theory, they made these truths the basis of our republic.
The judiciary has slowly eradicated these truths from our civic life. The courts have done this through a false interpretation of the First Amendment. Judges pretend that our nation’s founding convictions are the supernatural doctrines of some unknown establishment of religion. They do this so that they can separate them from us and gradually make us believe their false claim that government is the source of our rights.
Either our rights come from God or they come from government. To deny that God is the author of our rights is fall into the snare of tyranny. What is given by government can be taken away at any time. Only rights given by God are inalienable.
We were born a republic, but we will die an oligarchy — unless we restore our right to publicly profess, teach, and defend the founding truths of our own country. We have lost sight of the true definition of religious liberty, as laid down by Thomas Jefferson and the American Founders, which guarantees our freedom to profess these truths.
Religious liberty is the freedom of the people to join in the public profession of whatever religious truths are agreeable to the reasoned judgment of the majority. The Declaration of Independence was our nation’s first exercise of this original right of nature; its gradual loss poses a mortal threat to our republic. Without it, our judges will continue to assert that they have the power to decide our rights. We must never believe this dangerous and tyrannical falsehood.
Tyranny of the Judiciary — Glory of the Republic, in keeping with the principles of American Deism, explores the foundation of our country in natural theology and natural law ethics. The work explains how belief in supernatural revelation differs from the knowledge of rational religion. The first is rightly subject to the principle of church-state separation; the second most certainly is not. The suppression of the truths that are the basis of our republic is proof that our government is exercising an illegitimate authority over us. We must be free to profess, teach, and defend whatever religious truths are agreeable to the reasoned judgment of the majority.
Those who believe in the promise of this republic, those who admire our Constitution, those who want to see its principles restored to our nation’s public life (including to our public schools), will find this book an illuminating first step in the struggle to reinvigorate the right of self-government within the United States of America.
We are called—each and every one of us—to understand the original basis of our union in those truths that are evident to the ordinary powers of the human mind. We have an obligation to the future citizens of this republic, and indeed, to the peoples of the world, to restore the principles of our nation’s founding to their rightful place at the center of our civic life.

Tyranny of the Judiciary Glory of the Republic The Suppression of America Founding Truths edition by Edward Furton Religion Spirituality eBooks
This book makes the case that substantive truths established by The Constitution cry for protection and restoration. Author Furton's cause is clearly presented in a reasonable voice: core truths have been systematically suppressed by The Judiciary. He says, for example, that no teacher would dare to assert in a public classroom that God is the author of our rights. To do so would be to imply that there is a God, and this would violate the Constitution. But, he argues, the Supreme Court has used a false interpretation of the Constitution to eliminate this and the other religious truths of our founding from public life. These truths, he says, are known to reason, and so not subject to the separation of church and state."The Founders and Framers did not seek to suppress the founding truths when they wrote the First Amendment." He proves this, I think.
Great book. I wonder what he could do with "Corporations Are People".
