This was a surprise. Evanovich introduces a character by the name of Max Holt who happens to be Jaimie's silent partner on her newspaper. Jaimie is a single woman with strong convictions about her newspapaer, left to her by her father. When Max arrives, so does trouble. This guy is a techno giant, who has a state of the art talking computer, named Marilyn, built in his car; but he has a love for newspapers. There are all sorts of supporting characters that are wacky, such as Max's older sister and her retired wrestler husband who runs for mayor. Vera, Jaimie's office manager, is a hoot. She's nosey as all get out and carries a loaded gun in her purse! This book was fun and entertaining.Tags : Full House [Janet Evanovich, Lorelei King] on Amazon.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers.,Janet Evanovich, Lorelei King,Full House,Chivers Sound Library,0792727606,079272760620111002,Thrillers - Suspense,Fiction,Fiction Romance General,Fiction Thrillers Suspense,Romance - General,Romance: Modern,Unabridged Audio - FictionRomance,Audio Adult: Books On Tape

Character development is a true art and I'm afraid this writer fell short. I'm a huge fan of JE and this story, though sweet, was simply not nearly as entertaining as her other stories in large part due to the very obvious romantic story line.
Cute book, sweet ending. Will defiantly be reading the rest if the series. Would highly recommended for light reading. As so not too sexual.
Good story, funny, romantic with the famous Enanovich mystery flair.
A bit dated being it is a 're-vamped older book of hers.
It was a good read but a bit over priced for an older book.
I checked out the audio book from the library before purchasing for my collection. Several parts made me laugh out loud until tears ran down my face. I like the characters, most of them anyway. I agree with other reviewers that it did start to drag during the last third of the book and the ending wasn't great, but for just relaxing or running around doing housework (audio book), I enjoy it quite a lot.
I like most of the "Full" series books, my other favorite being "Full Bloom." The reader, Lorelei King, has a pleasant voice that seems more suited to the stories than the voice of C.J.Critt, who narrates Janet's other audio books.
I started reading this book 7/12/05 and I just finished it on 7/17/05. It was a quick read for me (because I do work during the day), I love the characters. It was so easy to just picture this book like a movie going on in your head! Since this book is the first one in the series, there is a lot of background information coming to light so that you can know the characters a little better. I myself loved DeeDee. As with every review I give I won't let out to much of the book, because I want you to read it. It was fast-paced, I actually caught myself reading snipits to my husband occassionally, and laughing out loud (and people thought I was crazy, I suppose). If your looking for a fun read, pick up Full House, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.
This was a great start to Janet Evanovich's writing career. The plot wasn't very in-dept, but it still was a sweet and fun story to read. The characters were crazy and fun and I wanted to experience more of them, which is why I'm going to be reading the rest of this series.
Of course there is no comparison with the Stephanie Plum series, but you can see the beginnings of Janet Evanovich's style with this series. The characters in this series are just as crazy as the characters in the Stephanie Plum series. Deidra and Max were my favorite characters in this series. I can't wait to read the rest of this series; hopefully Max has a story in one of them. I would look ahead, but I don't want to ruin the surprise.
OK- I got to the end of disc 6- NO DISC 7- I can sorta figure out what happened and who is the "bad guy" but I'm a sucker- now I have to buy another book on cd- NOT HAPPY with Goodwill Industries of SWFL
