I love these books...they're usually about couples falling in love. What I found in the online version and maybe it's different in a published book, there are a lot of spelling and grammar issues. Being a former editor/proofreader/publisher and writer, I take issue with this. Then again, I have a technical writing and English background. I just think the author needs both an editor and proofreader to make sure there aren't any mistakes going forward. Other than that, I love the books because I love a good story. I also love that her books, with regard to this series, all takes place in one town.

I've either ordered a book or read all the books online. I'm hooked, that's for sure!

I love the Pride series! This one was great! Well worth the read. I just adore this family.

The only negative thing I have to say is that more editing should've been done. A few spelling mistakes. But it didn't cause me to put the book down or distract from the story itself.

I still give this book a 5 star rating!! Those Jordan brothers melt my heart!
In this book Allison is an artist who returns to Pride, Oregon, after a couple of years in California. She discovers her mother is very ill. There are many interesting twists and turns to the plot which lead to a happy ending.
I really have enjoyed the first three books in this series. I think the author did a great job of creating beautiful characters. The Jordans are an incredible family. Made me want to be a part of their family too! This book was so sweet and so romantic. I absolutely loved it. I am currently re-reading the first 3 books in this series. I have a feeling this is a books i will read many times over!
Great read! Loved all the series I have read so far, will purchase everyone of them! This Author brings the characters to life, you get to know each and every one of them! Intense, detailed, exciting, thrilling, and interesting. After you read one book, can't wait to read the next one to see what will happen to other characters. After the first book, I was hooked!!!
Throughout this own book I felt like something was missing. I loved the first Pride Series novel and was excited to read about Iian and his story but this one didn't hit the mark for me. It was lacking and missing throughout.
Iian is the youngest of the Jordan's and the last to settle down. After a boating accident while his father was never found and Iian lost his hearing. It changed his life and he still has nightmares and suffers from horrible headaches and a fear of the deep ocean.
Allison is an Artist, returning home to Pride to find her mother ill Allison has to adjust and cope with her new life back home caring for her mother. Her high school crush is Iian the younger brother and brother in law to her two friends. His family is there constantly for support and help with Ally mother.
When someone starts harassing Ally and targeting her Iian is there to help and let's his feelings for Ally known.
I love the story and the characters, as I've loved each book so far in the Pride series. So my 3-star review is related to the poor job the publishers do in downloading these books, not with the book itself.

Having never read the paperback versions of these stories, I have to ask, is the spelling, grammar and punctuation a problem with the actual books? It's a real mess in the downloads. Missing words, misplaced commas, commas where either periods or semicolons should be used, and even verbs using the wrong tense!

Also, rather than simply indenting separate paragraphs when characters are speaking, there is a one inch space between these paragraphs.

Each new chapter starts at the BOTTOM of what is otherwise a completely blank page. It's ridiculous, all these things I have mentioned, and it makes it hard to read sentences properly. It's very irritating and after reading at least three eBooks in this series, I can see that every one of them has the same problem. Whereas the eBooks I've read from other authors have few of these problems. Apparently, then, it's a problem with whatever Jill Sanders writes. I hope her paperbacks don't have the same problems.

When the word is supposed to be, just as a made up example, "taking," I don't want to read "takes" instead. That type of error has been found throughout all of the Pride series eBooks I've read, and even in one eBook from another of her series.

What a shame.
I thought this was a lovely addition to the Pride Series. There is so much passion, love, caring and mystery along with a little thrill in each book. Iian is a wonderful character that I have loved from the first book in this series. He just needed the right girl to change his ways. Once he made up his mind that Allison was the one for him he turned out to be a wonderful gentlemen.

I really enjoy Jill's books she deals with every day issues and brings understanding to her stories with so much feeling. You know when you pick up one of her stories that it will be full of love, family and wonderful characters that you can relate to.

I did think that maybe we would find out more about Iian's hearing loss and maybe he would get it back. If I remember correct there is no reason that they have given why he lost it besides a boating accident that took his fathers life or that it might not come back. I was hoping he would remember more of that day.

The narrator did a wonderful lovely job of narration, I could listen to her voice anytime. She brought so much to the story you almost felt like you were there.

I really enjoyed this story and am looking forward to listening to a few more from this author and narrator. If you looking for a story you can relate to, one with feeling and lots of passion with real issues this is the author for you.
